Togan Han Saçaklıoğlu (LLM) - Attorney at Law
He graduated from Istanbul law faculty in 1987 and started his law profession at Sacaklioglu Law Office (Izmir). He worked as lecturer and vice-director at DE University School of Maritime Business and Management between 1990 and 1995. He continued his practice at shipping companies and London law firms. He established Sacaklioglu Law Office (Istanbul) in 2000. He has been working as a practising lawyer since 2000 specializing in Maritime and Shipping law, Transport Law, Finance, Acquisitions, Mergers, IT and Data Protection Laws and other fields of private and commercial law.
Sanem Saçaklıoğlu (LLM) – Attorney At Law
She graduated from Ankara Law Faculty in 1998 and she has graduated form Bilgi Universıty Post Gaduate prograsm in 2006. Mrs Sacaklioglu worked as director of law departmants of some very well-known INVESTMENT COMPANIES till 2017. Now, she continues to provide consultancy and legal services to her selected clients, which are basically active in the field of investment and capital market. Her expertise areas are; legal framework of international and Turkish capital markets, Banking and finance law, Capital markets agreements and law, Corporate law, Due diligence, Public offerings, Merger and acquisitions, FX transactions
Prof Dr. Oguz Atalay ( LLM – PhD) (Consultant)
Prof. Dr. Atalay is a well know professor in the fields of on Law of Execution and Bankruptcy. He has various published books and articles related to bankruptcy, concordat, postponement of bankruptcy etc. List of his books and articles will be available in our web site shortly.

Dr. Hakan Albas. ( LLM – PhD) ( Consultant - Attorney at Law)

Doç. Dr. Oya Özçayır (LLM, PhD) - Legal Consultant
Dr. Ozçayir is an associate professor of maritime law. She studied Law at Dokuz Eylul University in İzmir/Turkey and continued her studies at Exeter University in England for her LLM and PhD in Maritime Law.
She is an experienced lawyer, trainer and lecturer. She has taught Maritime Law in Turkey and at Cardiff University Law School in England. She has published many articles on different aspects of maritime law in various journals. She is the author of two books; “Liability for Oil Pollution and Collisions” and “Port State Control” both published by Lloyd’s of London Press Ltd.
She is a member of the International Maritime Law (IMO) Roster of Expert and Consultants, a member of the Editorial Board of Maritime Risk International and the editor of the IMO section of the Journal of International Maritime Law. She is a Member of İzmir Law Bar in Turkey. Since 1998 she has been working as a freelance Maritime Law Consultant and author both in the UK and Turkey. Dr. Ozcayir is a frequent speaker at international conferences and honorary fellow at Exeter University Law Faculty.
Gulia Koçal - Attorney at Law
Nesrin Baray graduated from DE Law Faculty and admitted to Izmir Bar Association in 1990. She worked in Sacaklioglu Law Office (İzmir and Salihli) until 2011. She has vast experience on Criminal Law, Law of Immovable Properties and Civil Law. She also finished her studies in School of Food Technologies in 2013 and gained expertise in Food Law. She works as a lecturer at Aegean University in Izmir and continues her legal practice as a consultant.
Nesrin Baray - Attorney at Law – Legal Consultant
She has graduated from Yeditepe University Law Faculty in 2006. She has started to work as lawyer at Sacaklioglu Law Office (Istanbul) in 2007. She has specialized on Commercial Law, Transportation law, Company Law, Litigation and in particular has vast experience on Ship Finance, Ship Registration and Ship Mortgage Transactions.
Capt. Talip Özcengiz
Captain Ozcengiz has more than 30 years’ experience on ship chartering, ship operation and sale and purchase, agency disputes etc. as well as technical issues related to ships, cargoes and transport by the sea. He supports us technically on shipping and maritime law matters.
